Island Pricess - Where can I get unobstructed canal views?

There was a thread (I think it was here on the Panama Canal board but I could be wrong) of places on the Island Princess where guests can go to get unobstructed views of the canal as the ship sails...

It doesn't matter. In Alaska the beautiful scenery is all around you. If you want to see more than the view from your balcony, you can go to one of the outside decks on the ship.
