I pre-book The Sheraton on Canal Street through Norwegian. I have stayed there a number of times without any problems. It is a very nice hotel near a lot of the downtown attractions.

The very FIRST thing I do when boarding the ship is go to the Guest Services Desk, ask if they will be holding an Officers' Dinner that cruise and sign up right then. Then I do not forget. Enjoy

I did an Officers Dinner on The Getaway last month. I signed up at the Guest Services desk. Hosting the table was the ship's Safety Officer and the Human Resources Officer. Wonderful evening.
