The longest I've done is 12 days in the Med. 12 very full, very long days. I wouldn't say it was too long, but it was certainly exhausting! If the cruise had actually been a few days longer, either a...

We pay the auto-gratuities, whatever's added to the cost of drinks, and a buck or 2 for room service deliveries (rare and small orders).
That's it. I would consider anything above that generous....

In all my afts, I've never experienced any of the above. Neither gulls nor sewage smell (which is usually just an "off" whiff) are limited to the aft. (We had a friendly gull perch on the rail of our...

I've never notified any CC company about upcoming travel, and never had a problem, but then, for nearly as long as we've had credit cards the bulk of our annual spending has been for travel -...

Not familiar with the cabins on that particular ship, but you can usually find a "spare" outlet behind the TV. If there is, since it's a bit hidden, might want to leave yourself a note or something...

Yes, we had the same thing for boarding in Southampton to go to Norway on RCL. We, more or less, tried to be as close as reasonably possible to the proscribed time, but were quite early. We kind of...

We always choose aft-facing balconies when we can. We've never had any complaints about the location, as long as there were staterooms above. We were on one ship (not Jade) directly under a...

Yes, THIS, exactly. The RS charge is fine. A little higher than I would have expected (couldn't they have just kept the same cost that they had for late night or pizza - what $5 or less?), but not a...

Just the same as anywhere, I would never leave anything out in public that I felt I couldn't bear to lose. The outside of your door is "out in public".
Yes, it's a shame that there are people who...

Yup. Had the same thing happen to me at the gat, as we were in line to board. I don't remember if it was BCN or another overseas airport. A bit unnerving, but it was, ultimately, no big deal.
Maybe...

I would send an email, but I really don't want a phone call to have to listen to their "reasons" or to have to defend my position.

When dressed formally, I do like us to look like we're together, but not matchy-matchy. I might select a tie for the hubs (he claims he can't match socks, so I get to choose) that brings in a similar...

I've also run into this on other ships on other cruise lines, too. It's no big deal once you get used to the layout.

Have and would again.
I never noticed an excess of crowds, but it was a 12-day Med., in October, so most staterooms capable of sleeping more than 2 probably weren't at full capacity.

We prepay gratuities, and (usually) shore excursions. We've never added more OBC than what's given to us by our TA or the cruise line. But we don't spend all that much aside from the above, and...

Agreed. Of all the cruises I've been on, I've never seen a ship overflowing with dirty dishes sitting for any significant length of time. Not even bar glasses.
