The fact of the matter is that NCL is a business and it will do what it has to to make a profit. People saying they will not book suites now because of this I either don't believe or honestly do not...

I dunno I don't think it sounds like anything all that special. The only plus is the priority tender tickets if you're not in a suite or a high enough latitudes member. .id rather see them do...

Last year on the breakaway they had the night football games on in the atrium on the big screen. Dunno about during the day..soccer seems to be like a never ending sport...

The only downside when booking a last minute...

The only downside when booking a last minute cruise is not being able to get the best pick of cabins. The upside would/could be lower fares.

First time was a few years ago on ncl gem paid around 900ish pp for a balcony cabin! We also ended up spending over 900$ on our account! Didn't realize how quickly drinks and specialty restaurants...

We stayed in an inside on deck 5 on the breakaway...

We stayed in an inside on deck 5 on the breakaway I think they are identical ships though...while the room itself was quite small there was a decent amount of storage. The bathroom was really nice...
