With the hotel behind you make a right on Brickell Ave (north). If the free rubber tire trolley is nearby- board it and ask the driver for Mary Brickell Village. If not walk to SE 10 street make a left (west) and then a right on Miami Ave. Lots of places to eat. My favorites include Balans, Burger and Beer Joint, Vatos, and Dolores/Lolita.

Alternatively a nice place with outdoor seating on the water is Crazy About You, its almost directly behind your hotel at The Mark building on 1155 Brickell Bay Drive.

To get to Bayside, you can jump on that same rubber tire trolley or get on the Metromover at SE 14th Street (Financial District Station) both options are free.

You can grab a great breakfast nearby too at Deli Lane located at 1401 Brickell Ave, its a little south of the hotel.

You can get to Miami Beach easily from your hotel in about 40 minutes and $4 per person round trip using bus options. Or about a $15-20 cab ride.
