Great Bay....Is there a CURRENT pollution problem at this beach??

I know there WAS a pollution problem but have there been any current reports of this at,Great Bay??

The problem has yet to be corrected as to my knowledge. The sewage overflow happens after heavy rain. There was a plan to drain this water further out to sea but I have not heard anything about that for a while now.

The locals think there is still a problem

Gary can you update the Great Bay Pollution-What's it like now thread? This thread is the one that has a lot of information on this subject over the years. The information of the recent findings from the students work would be a good update as to "what's it like now". ( I haven't checked your link yet but that's probably the thread that you are offering the OP so they can obtain more information. I would do it myself if I could. lol

An article about the MPC students' work was just in the Daily Herald. I do not think the detail of their work is online anywhere. I am guessing that Gary may be thinking that if they found pollution, it almost certainly included Great Bay.

I can picture a parade down Front St. if and when the pollution issues get resolved. :)

See the Google Earth shot. South Reward is in the upper left area. It drains into Great Bay.
