We just got back from the BEST CRUISE yet and figured I would do a review to share our experience.

It was just my husband and I this time. We flew down to Orlando a day early and spent the night in Cocoa Beach. Laquinta Cocoa Beach. I'm sorry I have no pics of the hotel, but it did the job for a one night stay.

We arrived at the ship at about 11am and were on board before Noon. The doors to the rooms were locked...we asked a security guard if we could open them to drop off our carryons and she said no problem. Our cruise had officially begun!!!

My pics are uploading now.

We had a Deluxe OV room. The room had two bathrooms. It was really nice. It was just my husband and I, but the two showers really came in handy when we showered. Cabin #1455. WAY aft. It was a little tiresome making that long trek to the cabin, but I lost 3.5lbs on this cruise, so I guess it helped. :D

We had 4 sea days on this cruise. The ports were Aruba, Ocho Rios Jamaica, Grand Cayman & Cozumel.

The first two days of the cruise were sea days. We didn't do much on the sea days. Relaxed in the hot tub and on the Serenity Deck. We went to brunch three times. As others have mentioned, the steak and eggs were delish. The whole process just took so long though. My husband wasn't impressed.

Here are a few random pics of and around the ship...

I'm looking to book a last minute August cruise on this ship now that it's here in FL. How was it being on the first deck, aft. Did it shake a lot when docking. Was it noisy. Could you hear the thrusters?

I was very worried that there would be noise or a lot of movement in this room and there wasn't. There was a little bit of rocking, but not enough to make a difference. The room was VERY quiet.

The first port was Aruba. I was the most excited to see this port, but it ended up being our least favorite. Aruba looks like a desert. There were so many cactus...OMG. But the beaches are BEAUTIFUL. We did an island tour for $20pp (found when we got of the ship), and then a sunset cruise with Jolly Pirates. Both excursions were perfect. We loved Jolly Pirates. My husband jumped off the rope swing. Plus there was an open bar. Very nice day. Here are a few pics.

Thank you. I'll have to let my sister know. She was the one saying she doesn't want to be at the bottom of the ship. Yet she's not willing to pay extra for a better room.

This was our first time on the 1st floor also and we had absolutely NO problems.

The next day was another sea day. We didn't do much again...laid on the deck, sat in the hot tub, drank, ate, napped, repeat...you know, the usual! :D

The next port was Ocho Rios Jamaica. I was the LEAST excited about this port and it turned out to be our FAVORITE. We had an awesome roll call for this cruise and we booked a group tour to the Irie Blue Hole w/ Courtney Taylor Tours with members of the roll call. This was easily one of the best excursions I've ever been on. This place was surreal. We spent about 1.5 hours at the Blue Hole. We then went to Scotchies for jerk chicken and pork (mmmmmmm) and then shopping. This was the best day. Here are some pics...

Yum, yum yum. Love Scotchies. I always eat there on my yearly trip home. Always get the jerk pork or fish. Drink that down with a Red Stripe beer

I'm really upset they did the Repo of the Dream to N.O.

My last cruise was on her from port Canaveral and to date has been my favorite cruise out of the four I've been on.

Sadly if I want a Cove balcony room (which is my favorite) I have to make the trek down to Miami for the Breeze now.

Yes, the pork was sooooo much better than the chicken. We had at least 8 Red Stripes that say! Good stuff.
