2014 Cruise Brides!!

Well brides (and grooms) I started this thread sometime early 2013. And now its.....HERE!!!!! I am finishing up a couple of hours at work and I'm flying out tonight! Tuesday at 11:30am I will be marrying my lovely hubby to be on Magen's Bay in St. Thomas! Wish me luck, I have a lot of "contraband" I'm trying to get on the ship eg. steamers, multiple curling irons and flat irons. Still doesn't feel real yet!!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

Just booked cruise/embarkation day wedding package on Carnival Pride, leaving Baltimore on Sept. 28. We couldn't be more excited!

Officially in single digits! 8 days til we set sail and 9 days til "I Do." I can't believe it's so soon. I thought I would have more to do but pretty much need to pack.

Does anyone have any last minute advice for me?

3 weeks to go! We just finished packing guest favors, gifts, decorations, silk flowers, signs to hold up at the Today show...All to be mailed to the hotel in New York City. :)

9 DAYS!!!! Yea!!! Everything is packed from our clothes to our wedding decor. I just need it to get here!

We sent our contract in today. There is so much to do, and less than six months doesn't seem like enough time to get it all done. I still need to find a gown! ACK!!! I'm starting to freak out already!

So if that will make you feel better...my wedding is in July 2014 and I still didn't sign the contract.

Well...it is always something to do regards the big day...

Any ideas for wedding favors? or none???? My husband thinks we don't have to have any kind of party favors...but most of the wedding do have some...

I had a great idea for favors, but I don't think we can do it...we call each other "panda bear" and I found adorable little bamboo plants with little ceramic pandas peeking over the edge. The problem is, with them being plants, I don't think the guests will be able to take them off the ship :(

Our Save the Dates were magnets, so those are out. Candy is food, so we can't do that. Maybe shot glasses or soaps?

I'm starting to think it would have been better to just elope :cool:

Now we are thinking the same....if just we just had elope...much easier lol. Not to talk about the drama that goes on around the family! Today my mil worry was where my fiancé's brother will put his suitcase during the wedding...he is a non sailing guest and he will go right back to nJ after the wedding....
