I would certainly hope you have a coice as to when to use the drink coupon. I certainly would not want to waste it on a soda instead of a more expensive drink.

Boo, I'm bummed about no match play DH uses the BOGO drink coupons and likes to get the tall glass of beer in the casino. I hope he gets to choose when he can use it.

I would like to know if the $10 off laundry bag coupon is automatic, we are Diamond.

Tom -

I thought the coupon was for a free 8X10, but I might be mistaken.

In any case, many hold off purchasing photos until towards the end of the cruise to compare all the photos and see which photos they like best.

We wait as well - often until the point that the place is packed!

I want to say that the coupon indicated it's for any size (perhaps up to 8x10), but not good for reprints or copies... or some similar limitation.

(see you soon!)

DD & I had the free 8x10 photo on our cards. We both used them too. NO issues at all.

But if they aren't printing the coupons, how will you know what the coupons are? Maybe they'll go to the one sheet style like Celebrity. I don't like that either.
To me its corporate spin, Its saving them money while at the same time the value of those coupons have degraded severely at least for us. To me the coupons might as well be buy one elephant, get one 50% off. I use to spend money on photographs, but instead of a reasonable coupon they are now, get a photo of the ship with a huge purchase. In some cases the photo of the ship isn't even real, its a photoshopped image, sometimes not even of the ship it says. I'm sure some people find some value in them, but as we gain status the value of the coupons goes down.

Where do I find a copy of the coupon booklet if I'm a gold member? Also, I'm at 29 points and after our cruise next may I move up a level. Which level will they give me access to?

There is one big problem with the future cruise certificate now. First, I don't want to pay $100 for someone else's cruise. Even if they are going to pay me back it can really mess it up for them. Some people have trip insurance through their credit card company, the requirement in many cases is that they MUST pay for the entire ticket with that one card. If $100 is paid with a different card then the insurance protection will be void.

Gina ~ That's a really good point.

I just don't understand why they changed it when it was working perfectly well before. Why do company's always want to change things? I had planned on buying 3 Next Cruises but with the new policy, I only bought 2. I did not get any paperwork before leaving the ship and have not received anything by email since getting home. Hope they actually went through. I requested to get paperwork before I left, but it never came.

Have a great day everyone - E-Beth

I agree. Another negative is that the other person may cancel the cruise, and then not get their $100 back. Now I've got a friend mad at me because I told them to book their cruise this way. This is much different than using the Friends & Family certificates.

Have the Paper coupons been replaced on all recent sailings? Or is the Phase-in still taking place?

So far, only Freedom has had the electronic coupons.
