Default ?'s and suggestions.

First off, how far from the cruise port is it to Guatemala City itself?

Also, if that is too far... what suggestions on what to do? We like wildlife and all, but mom can't do direct heat... so we need boats w/ tops on them or partially shaded and etc... and tours that aren't hours of walking as she can't do that either. She can walk, just not for more than an hour at a time. Thanks for all your help.

Meg

The port is quite a ways from Guatemala City. I assume you are porting in Puerto Barios? (st.thomas de castillo) If so, Rio Dulce tours are fun, lots of great jungle/wildlife and you can find plenty of opporators with modern comfortabel boats to accomodate your needs. I just came back from and extended (non cruise) stay in Guatemala, any questions please ask!
