Wink I loved Star Clipper Cruises and 2012 Lineup

Personally I have always loved Star Clipper Cruises, since 1992 (Caribbean on Star Clipper) new for 2011 were Mediterranean sailings in the summer of 2011 that introduced 10 maiden ports and take the ships to Greece and Turkey as well as the western Med. I should have done one but had too many conflicts (I'll be doing Greece next year thou on a different line). This fall, our friends sailed on Star Flyer as it headed back to Costa Rica. Personally, I am looking forward to 2012! Why?

A Baltic cruise itinerary of course as we see Star Clippers make their debut on Star Clippers’ roster in summer 2012 with the positioning of Star Flyer in the northern European region from May through August. They have itineraries ranging from three-night samplers to 11-night explorations (the one I'm booked and psyched for!), a variety of itineraries to some of the Baltic’s most popular capital cities as well as several smaller, more intimate ports of call are featured on the 170-guest tall ship. I think this is going to be a great experience.

With an end of July (31st) departure and pre-stay we will see Stockholm upclose, Klaipeda Lithuania, Gdansk Poland (our companion was born in Poland and is both a lawyer and a culinary expert), we go to Ronne, Bornholm Island, Denmark, Cophenhagen, Simrishamm Sweden, and Germany - it is going to be great! We are even planning to stay post in Berlin Germany and do some special adventures. wow all those countries (because of our itinerary extended) we will see more than we could on a European land vacation. I cannot wait, right now I am planning out small group journeys in each port to customize our itinerary and our pre and post stays.

Ummm....are you aware that Star Clipper and her sisters Star Flyer and Royal Clipper sail for Star Clippers, a different line than Clipper Cruises? There is a separate forum for Star Clippers. EM
