Music venues

I am hoping that someone from NO will be able to give me some music help for our first trip to your city. We aren't partiers, but we do want to hear music while we are in your city. Could you please give suggestions as to your favorite places for: Cajun/Zydecko;
traditional jazz; big band? We would prefer places that take reservations, rather than having to fight mobs to get in.

for a full listing of the what the local venues have to offer. Unfortunately, none of tham take reservations except for the shows at Harrah's Casino, House Of Blues and Tipitina's.
