About how much does it cost by taxi from the airport to cruise terminal
coming off an international flight.

depends on the airport. JFK is fixed at $45.00 plus tolls and tip. EWR is about the same.....LGA will be about $35.00 plus toll and tip assuming we are talking about the Manhattan cruise terminal

Tolls are expensive here, like $6 or $7 now I think. You'll get a nice view of the city on the way in over the bridge.

Most bridges and tunnels within NY City are $4.50(4.00 with ezpass) each way. The one that is twice that is the Varazano Narrows Bridge which has tolls only in one direction and is $9.00. The tolls from NJ to NY are variable depending on time but at most its $6.00 for a car(only to NY there is no toll from NY to NJ) again its less with an EZ pass by as much as a dollar.
