Hi everyone,

Next Tuesday, Cruise Critic will be attending and participating in a virtual travel show -- and you're invited to join us!

AAA (American Automobile Association) and CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) are hosting a live virtual event between 6 p.m. and midnight EDT on May 12 featuring Web cast presentations and panel discussions on various travel topics. Cruise Critic Editor in Chief Carolyn Spencer Brown will be presenting the "Top 10 Things to Know About Cruising" followed by a live Q&A. And you could win a prize just for attending!

For more details on how to register and win, click here: http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=3216

And, in the meantime, we want to know: What are YOUR top cruise travel tips? Post them here!

Be smart, do your research and book well in advance if you want a specific room, then log onto ***********.com and watch for price reductions.... if you waiting for last minute deal: watch your airfare prices or it won't be such a deal...

First time cruising: log onto cruisecritic.com and join the r/call boards after you book...they are very helpful and everyone is willing to chime in and answer questions

Excursions: do some research to learn about the area: send your kids some fun trivia questions to keep them interested and excited about the vacation. let the kids earn some $$ for spending if they get the answers correct....it works for us every time!
