Sailing out of Portsmouth on Boudicca on December 6th,can anybody recommend cheap parking for a 12 day cruise?. I am aware that F.O.will discount the £10 daily charge to £8 but this is still a hefty charge after paying for petrol for a 500 mile round trip.As the departure date is a Sunday,trains etc.are a non starter.

Have you considered staying overnight at the Hilton in Portsmouth?

They are likely to quote you including B&B, coach transfer there and back plus parking for the duration of your voyage.

and you're travelling 250 miles to get there on the day?

FYI, it took me 9 hours recently to travel my 280 miles to Dover in July but, fortunately, the day before.

As you say, FO appear to have negotiated discount parking for guests in Portsmouth providing you adopt the correct procedure.
