Default seven mile beach question

I know you cannot use the beaches, or should I say chairs, etc, in front of the hotels, so where can cruisers go and feel comfortable on seven mile beach??

I know you can rent a chair and an umbrella at Royal Palms...is there anywhere else with facilities to pay to use?

How is Royal Palms in comparison with Sea Grape beach, where our cruise ship is sending its beach excursion?

Is Cemetery beach much further, and worth the drive out by taxi or bus? (no facilities there, I've read, but they have shade and quiet, which is nice too, from what I can see.)

We're just looking for a nice beach day with the least amount of hassle, and I appreciate any info anyone has.

Thank you.

Sea Grape and the Reef Grill/Royal Palms are very similar. The Reef Grill/Royal Palms is closer to the pier.

I hope this helps!

Enjoy!

How far is the Reef Grill/Royal Palms from the ship? Within walking distance?

Thanks,

I think it's pretty close to 5 miles. The taxi is only $4 or $5/person each way or you could take the bus for $2.50/person each way.

I hope this helps!

Enjoy!
