Default Turners Beach

Just posting a "quickie" post. In planning our cruise we always found there was not much in on the ports or postings after a trip. We took a cab (8 adults) @ $8pp each way to Turners Beach. Not our first choice, however someone from our group was concerned re safety. We had been there before and yes, Princess tour excursions do stop there. Bathrooms were just so-so, definitely not clean (check for TP before you go in !!!) We had a bit of rain so the bar/cafe area was packed. Not the best beach but not the worst. Carib beers $3, beach chairs $5. There were some vendors on the beach but if you said no, they left you alone. btw, there were 2 jet skis and also looked like a boat for water skiing. Unfortunately, I didn't check the price. Any questions I will try and answer.

Sailing solo, I would do a day pass. Jolly Beach Resort is one another is at Dickerson's. You could always "hook up" with someone on your roll call. I would not do most of these beaches as a single. You might also want a waterproof holder for your cruise card and money. Don't leave on beach while in water..................that goes without saying.
