Unless you are thinking about carrying them home at the end of your cruise you are better off stopping in Ft. Lauderdale at Total Wine or ABC and purchasing there.

I doubt Princess will allow you to purchase your liquor in their duty free shop, have it delivered to you before the end of your first voyage and then bring it back on board for your next leg unless you plan on smuggling it aboard according to their rules about bringing stuff aboard.

Regardless, the prices for their limited selection are at duty free pricing and you would be also limited on how much per person you can buy or drink after you disembark and throw it down in the parking structure waiting to go back on the ship.

You can just buy it the night before the end of the first cruise, and they will let you cary it back to your room. No need for delivery if purchased then. Free to enjoy the second cruise.

Look out on this, as Princess seems to be catching on and many have been stopped from doing this, as it is in the computer that they are continuing on the next voyage. Don't be surprised on your next B2B if they will not allow you to take it back to your stateroom but will hold it until the actual night before you disembark.

I like to buy my booze duty free & like to plan ahead. I always purchase wine at Total Wine in FLL but I like to bring several bottles of booze home; the reason I like to see a price list ahead of time.

Default Liquor Prices

I was just recently on the Emerald and thought their prices to be high (not higher than the US though).

We found the absolute best deals in St. Martin. The prices I will list are the good sized bottles, not small.

I got Amaretto for $15.00, Grey Goose for $21, Jamaican Rum for $9, Grand Marnier for $20 (another great deal), Crown for $15.00 (the medium bottle) - what a deal, and Bailey's larger bottle for $15.00. The ship was at least $5.00 higher on each bottle - in some cases $10 - we checked before we left the ship to shop - and when we came back to double check.

Wish I would have kept the pricing - just threw it away on Monday. The best deals on ship that I saw were 2 bottles of Absolut for around $24.00 - but we found them for 9 in St. Martin. And they had lots of Cruzan rums for $8.95 - but they were the same price in every port. St. Thomas was actually a few dollars higher on each of the above items - sometimes up to $5 to $9 higher.

I don't smoke, but if you do - cigs were $15. a carton in St. Martin and $21.95 in St. Thomas. On ship they were $24.95 as I recall. Cigar prices were cheaper in St. Martin too - we were looking for a friend, and found them to be much cheaper there - don't know why.

Good luck.
