Default Suggestions Sydney to Hawaii

Just wondering if anybody has any ideas - my best friend turns 40 in April 2011 and since we have both cruised before and loved it we are looking to do something really special for this big occasion. I have noticed that people have posted in regards to cruises either to Hawaii from Sydney. Is this a cruise that is offered very often? We would fly one way and cruise the other so we are not really picky about the cruise being on the way to Hawaii or the return home. Does anybody know what cruise lines do this trip and if there are any particular months?

Dawn Princess cruise D109 [Sydney-Hawaii-Sydney] 8 April 11 could be just what the doctor ordered.

Default GREAT choice...

Hi there,

we have done this trip, it's a beauty...the Sapphire Princess is here in Sept 2010, San Francisco - thru Hawaii, Tahiti, then the Islands and on to Sydney...she then turns back ..leaves Sydney and goes back to LA the same way, that is in October...so either way is a great trip. We are watching this one ourselves for any specials that come along. It involves a one way airfare of course.

You're lucky as April is the perfect time, as all the seasonal ships leave our Summer then to head to Alaska for the Northern Summer. Aside from Diamond Princess and Rhapsody, there's also HAL Volendam that leaves Sydney for Hawaii on April 17.

For a trip the other way, those happen in September/October.

hi marnil, we did the 35 nighter cruise last April and we enjoyed it so much that we would like to do it again.....if you have the time and the money try and do the whole cruise, there is a lot of sea days but its worth it

one well know aussie online TA has a starting price of $5139 for an inside twin with $400 OBC and if you are in the Captains Circle you get another $400 OBC....you can buy a lot of cocktails for that, you only need a visa for Hawaii but its free and you can do it online
