Default Newbie question about sprays

Hi everyone,

Newbie cruiser here sailing tomorrow! I just have a quick (stupid) question, I notice on the P&O website they say you're not allowed to take any flammable substances on board however I was wondering whether any one has taken a small travel size can 100ml of hairspray?? What about deodorant - can't wear roll-on, surely it would be allowed?

I'm also wondering about spray tan can, natural tanning and those gradual tans aren't really an option for me..

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I took hairspray and nothing was ever mentioned, though, to be honest, I never thought of it as flammable till now. I'm envious of you, have a great cruise.

I always take hairspray with me... but I take a large can. A small one would only last a couple of days. I have never been questioned about taking it on board.
I always pack it in my large suitcase not the carry-on bag.
Can't see why you couldn't take the spray tan either!!
I also use spray-on deodorant too... once again a large can.

Have a great cruise!!!!

I have always taken spray deodorant, hairspray & glen 20 and nothing has ever been said make sure they have lids on them or the deodorant has the locking nozzle thing or they might go off in your suitcase. Always put them in your checkin luggage not your carry on luggage.
