Will be on the 15 Nov sailing of Freedom and since we haven't been to Jamaica in roughly 5-6 years were wondering if anyone has recommendations on excursions?

I was there 5 years ago, so I must have missed you

We are you going, Ocho Rios or Montego Bay?

Lots of information on the port of all threads, with suggestion for tour guide and excursions.

In Ocho Rios:
Dunn's River
Coyaba River Garden and Museum
White Water Rafting/Tubing
Margaittaville
9 Miles : Bob Marley Birth place
Fern Gully : rain forest
Reggae Beach

Day Passes : Sunset Jamaica Grande (family) Couples San Souci, Hedonsim

See my Ocho Rios album for kool pics. How were you hoping to spend your day?

[b]BTW....I answered this post because I saw the smilie face

Smile thanks

docking at Ocho Rios, tell me more about the day passes please.Would like to spend day swimming, or at the beach anyway. I remember that the water can be cold this time of year. Also going to Grand Caymon and Cozumel. Have been to Cozumel many times but have never done anything except walk the streets of town.
We went to europe in April, a ten night Med cruise, to Italy, France, and Spain
We were on the go all day, every day. Not that I want to do that but, I think I might like to do something at theses ports this time around.

We will be on same sailing and while we have booked excursions at other ports, this one we are still finalizing too. My DW and I were last here Nov.2006. At that time, we did the Dunn's Falls / Sea Kayaking combo. It was lot's of fun. This time around, we are with our 2 DS's also and looks like we will be doing the Inner Tubing on the White River (OR49). This one lets you float down the river and then 2.5 hrs at Shaw Beach with a little sshopping time left over at the end. We have some friends who did this about 2 years ago and loved it. There is another tubing excursion called Chukka River tubing but no beach time for that one. Make sure you read the excursions well as there are some that may seem the same but are not. Also, if there are only two of you, my sister once did the Sandals day pass and she loved it. See you in 10 days, 5 hrs, 5 mins and 50 secs - but whose counting.

James
