Exclamation Attention SUN South America Cruisers (and NCL too)

Two days ago American Airlines called us to inform us of the flight time change from Buenos Aires - it now departs one hour earlier but the arrival time to Miami remains the same as is the length of flight. I got an email one day later.

I digged, and found that although Chile, Falklands and Uruguay have now gone to Daylight Savings Time this season, Argentina did not. Apparently after 2 seasons of DST experiment they have decided to abandon it - this was recently decided.

So unless you have been contacted by your airlines/Travel Agent, you better check your flight times to/from Buenos Aires.

NCL: Argentina is now on same time as Chile and Falklands with Uruguay one hour ahead, will this affect the port times on the South American itinerary?

Thanks for clearing that up. We got a message that we would be leaving MIA at the same time but, would be arriving in BA an hour earlier. Wondered why that was.

Wow that is very interesting. I was on the Sun SA in Feb. And loved it.

Have fun.
