Default Tequila Treasures in Cabo - Caro do you know?

Does anyone know if Tequila Treasures is still open. I never hear anyone post about it. We were there last November and it is a wonderful bar/liquor store very close to the tender dock in Cabo.

Can't remember the owner's name, but he was very generous with his samples of various flavored tequilas. The vanilla and almond were so very delicious and smooth, I wanted to pick up a few more bottles on our trip this year.

It has been closed for quite some time now at least since last December. We own at the the timeshare resort just up the hill and noticed it has been empty since then.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to see that it has closed. It was a nice place. Do you know of another store close to the port in Cabo to purchase flavored tequila? I believe the brand was 11 Once Letres.

You can find it at most places that sell tequila. In the large mall on the marina there are three places, La Europea, Hacidenda Tequila and Fiesta Mexico ( I like this one the best). Or you can just wander thru town and find one of the small stores, they are everywhere! The closest one to the tender pier would be behind Solomons Landing restaurant which is right on the marina as you walk along the marina boardwalk. Try the pomegranate flavor- yum!

Thanks Househunter,

I was only asking about stores close to the pier so that I don't have to carry the bottles all over town. The pomegranate sounds yummy! Do any of those places near the dock give samples before you buy?

DH found a tequila he was looking for up the mall a little that runs next to the new Senor Frogs right at the tender pier. It was at the back on the left and was really easy to get to and cheaper than another place he found the same tequila!

The store behind Solomons has samples as does Fiesta Mexicana in the mall which is less than 15 minutes from the tender pier.

I was looking around for liquor stores on the internet and came up with this one. The pic they show looks exactly like Tequila Treasurers and is approximately in the same location - just a different name. Here is the description:

La LLorona Tequila Bar
Gali Plaza, Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Opening October 1, 2009 under this new name.

And, it is a Tequila Bar - just like Tequila Treasurers.
