Caribbeanboy: Please help with restaurant recommendation
I have enjoyed reading your posts about Curacao. We are going on a HAL excursion in the AM & would love to have lunch in town when it is over. Could you please recommend a great restaurant(s) for lunch where we could sample some of the local foods?

Local taste!

If you want the "local taste" visit the Old Market at the Punda side of Willemstad, it has been transformed to a "food court" with picnic tables. Here between 11.00 and 14.00 you can try local dishes, prepared by our local mama's! TIP: 11.45 is the best time to arrive, afterwards it will be crouded by those working at downtown stores and ofices. A restaurant option is the Golden Star, 15 min. from your ship Enjoy your stay!!
