Default Looking for good toure operators in Cabo,Puerto Vallarta & Manzanillo

We have not,as yet, made any plans for the following ports that our ship will be stopping at,Cabo San Lucas,Puerto Vallarta & Manzanillo. We prefer not to go on ship tours, and are looking for independent tour operators in these ports. If you have been to any of these ports and have good OR bad comments about any tour operators we would like you to share these experiences with us.

Thanks,
Al

We have booked an eco tour with chimal tours in Manzanillo for our cruise in 2 weeks. They have several tours to chose from on their web site and the price depends on the number of people going. He has responded quickly to my emails and questions and has even called me at home to make sure everything is as I want it. You don't pay untill the end of the tour, so no money up front. For the 8 of us it's $41 pp for an all day trip including a cooler of drinks.

In Puerto Vallarta we went out with Wildlife Connection (www.wildlifeconnection.com) on a boat with a marine biologist studying dolphin. In winter, they focus on whales I guess, and they have other tours. They accommodated our ship schedule. We were with them on their boat for three hours. It was great.

In the past we have used superiortours in P. vallarta and were very happy with them.
Great licensed guide, local guy, spoke very good english.
check their website: ****************************************

In Mazatlan we had a shipexcursion to Concordia and Copala in the mountains. Long day, but very interesting.
In Cabo we took a watercab for about 1 hour, sailed around the bay, saw the sealions, arches, etc. After that just walked around and had some drinks and food.

Smile Our days in Puerto Vallarta & Cabo

Hi, we just got back form our Mexican Riviera cruise. We were a party of 9 (3 adults, 4 teens and 2 kids).

In Cabo, we arranged a sail and snorkel trip and had a fantastic time. We booked it with cabosailing dot com. The crew (Alex, Isreal & Gaz) were so attentive and friendly. We met them right at the port. They welcomed us aboard and gave us drinks. We went out a bit to snorkel in the Sea of Cortez. Gaz, took the boys over to Pelican Rock to show them how to safely climb & jump from it. They had a blast! About an hour later, we sailed out into the Pacific Ocean. The crew was fabulous and the day was wonderful - I highly recommend them!

In PV we did the canopy tour (ziplining) with Los Varanos. That was a great day as well. They are very good at what they do. The safety briefing was entertaining but they take safety seriously. They take photos and video for you so you can just relax & enjoy the experience. After the ziplining, some of the people from our cruise ate at the restaurant and said it was good. We had some yummy margaritas (mine was mango . The kids swam in the river. There were natural rock slides and the teens jumped from the rocks as well. The kids also enjoyed the monkeys.

enjoy your cruise

In Manazanillo, we have gone with Hectours. He has options but we liked the ATV rides (one to the remote areas of the beach and one to a mountain top overlooking the bay). Highly recommended.
