You can get iced tea all day at the buffet on the Dawn. And, if you go to the kids cafe inside the Garden Cafe you can get apple juice and OJ there during meal times.

I sometimes buy a box of packets of lemonade in the supermarket and take it with me. It weighs next to nothing and I can trivially make lemonade whenever I want, and I get the added advantage of deciding if I want sugar or a substitute.

I agree with Bill, I buy those packs for $1 that contain several of those "1 glass" packets. I also love the Wyler's raspberry. I get them at Dollar Tree or Walgreen's.

NCL shuts down the OJ and other juice dispensers at the end of the breakfast time frame. They do it so fast I swear they are precious commodities. They obviously do not want the booze smugglers to have any free mixers.

They begrudgingly leave the iced tea and water on as there is nothing cheaper they could leave for free. I am shocked they have not started selling coffee cards like they do pop.

Everything about having passengers on board is wringing every last penny out of the passengers hands. NCL does not miss a beat and will is constantly trying new things for that purpose. (jazz brunch, doubling the price of the anniv package etc)

I always bring a cube (12 cans) of lemonade when I sail ncl. I can only have so many ice teas. Carnival always had the best lemonade anywhere and a bowl of fresh lemonade slices also. Are you listening ncl?? Guess not.

You can be creative. You can order all the juice you want for room service breakfast and store it in the refrigerator (or even put it on ice in the event you have no fridge.) Youc an get cranberry juice and orange juice and tomato juice. Further, you can get all the lemons you want and all the water you want and all the suger you want and make all the lemonade you wish--my kids do it and love it--so much better than the fake lemonade stuff. There has been water on every ship I was on and the water is very good. Yes--you do have to find out where it is--but once you do you can get all you want.

Call room service for orange juice. Its avaliabe all day.

You don't have to go to the buffet to bring drinks back to your cabin, and you don't have to go to a bar to bring a drink, alcohol too, back to your cabin....

Call room service.... The bar room service is open 9 am to 2 am....

If they wants to dime you to death, why don't they charge for ice tea?

We are returning on the Gem next June 26, 2010. We missed the lemonade also. On Carnival we enjoyed mixing the iced tea and lemonade together. What a great drink, even for our 11 year old. What a great idea to bring the packets of lemonade.
