There only seems to be about 3 inside cabins in this area. What is in all the unmarked space?

I haven't looked at your ship's deck plans, but usually when a space isn't marked, it's simply not a public area. If it's large, it's possibly a working area of the ship, such as a kitchen, or, on the lowest passenger deck, it could be crew areas or cabins. Smaller sections that appear to be cubicles or blank cabin areas in between rooms are often steward closets where things a steward might need to care for the cabins are stored. You can probably call Princess and ask a customer service agent to find out exactly what the area is.

You can be sure that some of that white space shown on the deck plan is for the room stewards to store linens, supplies, equipment. Also access for those delivering room service. I've been across the hall from some of those areas (on upper decks) and didn't experience excess noise. If you're sleeping in then perhaps you'll notice more (noise) but you'll also have passengers walking by, too, that add to the noise factor.
