Mine changed from light blue to purple when they upgraded my cabin from a 1A to a 6B. Don't know if it makes any difference in luggage delivery, but I'll use the new ones.

I print them on my color printer, use tape on them, and put an extra copy in an unlocked outside zipper compartment. And I also tip the porters. Anything to make sure I get my bag as soon as possible. I don't want to tempt the gods.

TropicOne -- I'm with you, it's just part of the precruise fun. I personally love printing my own tags. I also use packaging tape to prevent tearing.

If you are flying to the port, do you put these new tags on before the flight or after you get to the port?

I am afraid if we put them on for the flight they will get torn off. I don't have a way to laminate but I can try the packing tape idea. I did not want to have to carry tape or a stapler along though, but will if I must to make sure they don't come off.

Ok, I am confused! Last year we got a packet in the mail that had our luggage tags and information in it.. this isn't standard? LOL
