Default Hair Straighteners

This is a question that female UK cruisers may can answer best, do UK Babyliss hair straighteners work in the Princess cabins?

Hi Glasgow144,

I don't have Babyliss straighteners, but I used some Remington ones onboard Grand Princess and they seemed to work fine, just took a little longer to heat up!

Check the voltage of your straighteners - if they show 110v-240v then they will work fine if only 240v you may find that they might not work due to low voltage as the ships only tend to supply 110v or at best work very slowly.

If your straighteners show 240v only then you can keep them plugged in for an hour and they will be only lukewarm (and unuseable). Simply look on the net for a transformer adaptor that will change UK voltage (240v) to US voltage (120v). Easy to find they cost less than £10.
Enjoy your cruise!
