It's fraud, plain and simple.

That's what Carnival's all about anyway.

They will do anything to get your money.....

It's a wonder they are the most successful land largest cruise company in the world what with ripping off their passengers.

But, there it is.

There's a thread on here about how mean and nasty the boards have gotten. Read it. I thought about you when I did.

Did G'ma just admit Carnival made a stupid mistake?

Are you being sincere, facetious, sarcastic, or mean? I'm truly not sure.

G'ma has always been the blind Carnival cheerleader. She's obviously being sarcastic with her post.

She'll never recognize the attitude with which she posts, so give up. Just move on, don't worry and be happy

Sigh.....

Guess I need a cruise.

It just gets annoying when folks assume that Carnival (or any other line for that matter) goes out of it's way to rip somebody off, perpetrate fraud, lie, etc.

Guess it got the best of me.

But, I stand behind it anyway.

I can just see it now. It will look just like this. They won't even make it look good.

Ship Pic from: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...cruiseship.jpg

It says Carnival Fantasy, but it is hard to read. I have no idea how to make it any bigger. I already made it 600 size in webshots.

It's hard NOT to assume they went out of their way when they have a bunch of photos of one ship with another ships name on it. How do you "accidentally" end up with "Holiday" on the bow and top deck of a Fantasy class ship?

Still, I asked because maybe it it was just an "accident". Maybe they DID paint up a Fantasy class like that once, and maybe those are real photos that just weren't meant to be in public circulation. I really wanted to know. Instead of being helpful and giving any real feedback, you chime in with sarcasm and venom. Thanks a load.

Sigh... It just gets annoying sorting through all the troll posts on this board. I guess trolls don't always have just one post.

G'ma....In this case I have to say this is a photoshopped ripoff.....If Carnival was selling them then they misled some loyal Carnival cruisers...
Then again in any case we all know the saying....."Buyer beware"....
I would have thought though anyone buying them would have noted the cat 12 balconies midships on the upper deck....That is a big "Oops"....

Everyone is saying CARNIVAL. It is not Carnival as the photo dept is an INDEPENDANT CONTRACTOR aboard the ship. (they just happen to wear a Carnival nametag ) You could let Guest Services know in Miami but there is probably little that they can do now that the ship is out of service.

Ducking out to go get on the Fantasy on our belated cruise because of the hurricane.

Hey Dave...I agree with that. The only thing is I have independants that do work for me and guess what...when it comes right down to it I am still responsible for what they do and how they represent the company....

Have a fun shorter cruise Dave....

It would be interesting to see what Carnival would say about this. I would email them along with a copy of the pic and ask what happened.

And get what in return? A stock photo of Celebration or Jubilee with Holiday P-slopped on the side? Some folks are very skilled at using Photo Shop, but obviously are profoundly lacking in double checking their work, such as jewelry ads that show a woman with a ring on each of her six fingers.

Couldn't they switch contractors and get someone who pays attention to what they are doing? I love those "limited editions"; limited to what they can sell.
