Default Sunset Veranda on the Freedom

Always intrigued by, but never opted for, one of the sunset verandas on the Freedom class of RCCL. Seems as though would get a lot more veranda for the $ and a wonderful perspective while cruising. Any thoughts?

Do you mean an "aft" cabin?

Yes, at the back of the ship - there appears to be 2 large suites blanketed by nice "sunset veranda" cabins.

Never heard this term before. But if you are looking at cabins which face the stern of the ship overlooking the wake, yes, the balconies are much larger than side balconies. And we love the view. Many people do not like looking at where they have been, rather than where they are going, however! And the walk from elevators is quite long. But, it is quiet back there unless you have noisy neighbors, as we did on just one cruise.

Remember it is only "sunset" if the ship is positioned for you to see the sun. Otherwise, "sunset" is at the front of the ship.
