Default oasis arrival

why does the oasis already have rusts stains? will they be cleaned? also why did they have tug boats spraying water

The 'rust' is from the salt water and yes it will be painted over. The tug boats were celebration the Oasis' arrival!

Thanks for giving the poster a nice and honest answer.

Unlike a couple of posters on another thread who felt the question asked needed to have smart aleck remarks instead of a decent answer.

Ships are constantly fighting corrosion, its just part of life in salt water. Of course 40-60ft seas doesn't help that either. On most cruises you almost always see painting going on at every port, they are just constantly fighting corrosion.

The Tugs/Fireboats spraying water is a traditional celebration for new ships..... Queen Mary 2 had the same thing when she arrived in Ft. Lauderdale.
