Cozumel beach help needed

I"ve read many of you talking about Nachi, but I'm looking for a Cozumel beach that is NOT all inclusive. Just looking for a nice safe beach with chairs and umbrella and drinks It would be great if you could suggest something that is not too far from the pier, but will think about all opinions.... Any suggestions?? And how do we get there?? Thanks for your help in advance...

You might try Sunset Beach. Closest beach to San Miguel. It's between the town of San Miguel and the two newer piers. Cab ride wouldn't be any more than going to San Miguel, $7, maybe a bit less.
