Default Where to find best deal?

Hi cruisers,

I am trying to plan a cruise for family of 4 with 2 children. I am just wondering if there is a website that would give us the best deal on Disney cruises. Or are the faires pretty much standard anywhere we go?

Thanks for your help.

Alex

My understanding is that DCL does not allow discounting, although others might correct me. You'll likely pay the same base fare everywhere, but you might get perks thrown in at some agencies (e.g., gift cards, insurance, transfers, etc.)

This is where booking through a DCL-specialist travel agent really comes in handy.

Our first DCL trip I used our Disney-specialist TA who not only gave us a small on-board credit for booking through her, she also suggested a slight change to our dates to move from a higher-cost season to a lower-cost season. One week made a big difference!

I ended up booking through Disney, because of the "kids cruise free" that required a PIN. However, I had done a lot of research on pricing and the best prices I found were via the discount warehouse stores...the ones where you buy everything in bulk! I don't think we are allowed to post names here?

Default Dcl vs Ta

Just make sure everything is the same, when a quote is given. Your fare should include, port taxes, tranfers if needed, and travel insurance, and the same catagory of stateroom. The same week is also needed, as weekly rates fluctuate. Personally I would not use an agent, that has not cruised with Disney a number of times. The Disney differance is why they are slightly more exspensive than some other lines. Don't be mis-led, be careful. Metrowon
