We will be doing a B2B on the Seranade in January. We have talked to many people who have done B2B and they said that RCCL will give you a message during your cruise where to meet on the last day of your first leg. They will take you to a location where you will get all of you needs for the second leg and then escort you back onto the ship and take you for either a special breakfast or lunch.and then you are free to do as you want, such as go ashore or what ever.

Hopefully you are booked into the same room for both legs. This is the best part of B2B cruises. YOu get to relax when everyone else is hurrying to get packed.

The same goes for Disembarking Morning. You do NOT have to participate. Relax and enjoy your morning. (the only thing is there is no room service that morning for breakfast).

You will be meeting with a staff-member around 10:00 or 10:30 (after all the other crowds are gone) to be escorted through customs. After that, you will be given your new SeaPass Card for the next leg, and then escorted back onto the ship. This will take total of around 20 minutes.

When you get back on the ship, it's really great, because you and the other B2B'ers are the only ones on board. I really loved going around to all the public areas and taking pictures without people. ENJOY!!!

Hope This Helps.

Congrats on your B2B! Or, as RCCL likes to call them now . . . Consecutive Cruises.
On your 2nd day of your first cruise, go to Guest Relations, introduce yourself and make shore that all the t's are crossed and i's dotted. Sometimes things have fallen thru the cracks and caused confusion between guests and RCCL. Just a few minutes at GR could save you aggravation later.
CC procedures differ from port to port. Ideally, you will be off the ship by 9:45 or 10:00 a.m., thru customs, then back on in 10-15 minutes. You will be the last off and the first back on. Take your camera and record the moments. We didn't take our camera and regret it.
Have a great time!

We are also looking forward to our B2B on the Serenade next year. I think the day between will be easy, especially if you have the same cabin. I believe DH and I might get off the ship and do some exploration, as soon as we know our room arrangements and such have been taken care of.

We just got off the Freedom and our first "consecutive cruise" or b2b as everyone on the ship is calling it. We met at (:30 and were walked thru customs who said shoo, go play and back on the ship. The best part was walking on board again and being told the "the ship is yours, have fun" We were the only 2 people to stay on board. No special lunch, but we had friends boarding, so we were eating with them. They did say we could go to the Windjammer early.

Having the same room was a plus. Our wonderful Karleen told us to put the make up the room sign in the door so that she would do it the minute we left. By hte time we got back it was done. Dropped off the passports, donned the swimsuits and we were off to have fun on our ship.

This is definitely a must do again.

Oh you will get all kind of goodies on the second leg. Awesome. As others have said you will meet someone from GM arond 9:45-10:00. You will be escorted thru Customs. Get new pictures taken and you are set. Just remember nothing is open until others are let on the ship. Keep water or a drink with you.

We stayed at the pool. It was awesome.
