Default Mexico Cruising - w/kids - March

We are looking into a Mexican Riviera cruise in March 2010 with kids. Any suggestions on a family oriented cruise? We've always done Disney, but they don't have any available in March. Not sure if the other cruise lines get boggled down with lots of college kids this time of year.

There will be a lot of spring break people in March. You will also probably find that prices are a bit higher. The longer the cruise, the better it tends to be in terms of rowdiness, but that's not always the case. My only experience with the Mexican Riv was on Mariner of the Seas ... it is a huge ship with lots and lots of stuff for kids to do (rock wall, ice rink, full bastketball court, etc) and the kids programs are very good from what I've seen/heard.

We are doing a Mexican Riv. cruise in April. I did a LOT of research on different cruise lines and I ended up choosing Royal Caribbian Mariner of the Seas. Their children's programs are highly rated and have also gotten good reviews by several on this board. As the poster before me mentioned, the ship has several activities in addition to the kids programs. The ship even has an ice rink.
We were also looking at March but we ended up choosing late April due to the Spring Break issue. This will be our first family cruise, and we were considering Disney, but in the end due to price and other issues, R.C. looked like a better fit for us. (My kids are ages 9, 7, 5, and 3.)
