Default Enough time?

The Carnival Victory evidently leaves port at 10 pm. Do we have enough time to board if we arrive at the airport on the 6 pm flight?

If the plane arrives on time, yes. I personally would try to arrive earlier.

Perhaps. But do yourself a favor and fly in the day before (later arriving flight therefore cheaper) and book a reasonably priced room and have piece of mind that you won't be delayed and miss the ship AND have a little time to explore old San Juan and destress.......

try www.numerounoguesthouse.com for a reasonably priced room.

Default seriously worried

I am now very worried from reading this. I already booked a flight arriving at 5:30 pm and the Carnival Victory departs at 10 pm.

If I "miss the boat" what are the best ways to get to St. Thomas the next day? Is it possible to catch a flight the next day to St. thomas?

Do you know how late the ship will allow passengers on board, up to departure time?

Anybody else had experience with missing the cruise ship? I missed a train once and it was such a horrible and stressful feeling.

Well you have to figure in time to get luggage, cab, etc. I believe you have to check in by 7:30 or maybe its 8:30. It is cutting it close. Better take travel insurance.

Read your cruise ticket......usually will say how far ahead you have to be checked in by. USUALLY 90 minutes.

If there are any delays with your flight - it could be really tight. Not a great way to start off a vacation in my opinion.
