Default Tiki Hut Snorkel Park...can you do this on your own?

This excursion costs 79 bucks a person. It takes you by water taxi and then brings you back by water taxi either to the shopping district or right back to your ship...you come and go as you please.

How would we FIND the water taxi that would take us there if we wanted to do it on our own? Has anyone done this? Is it a lot cheaper than paying for it through Carnival?

Thanks for any info!

Yes, you could definitively do it on your own:

Let us know how it went! I'm also thinking of doing this one on my own!
