Default Cruise related gift?

I was thinking of giving my sister and her husband a cruise related gift for Christmas. They are sailing with us on the Oasis in October. They are older and hard to buy for. Is the cruise to far away? Any suggestions? Thanks ahead for any help. Jan

how about buying them a shore excursion for the cruise? it would give them something extra to get exited about! if rccl can't give you some type of gift certificate that far in advance, you could make a cool one yourself on the computer to put under the tree!

We (7 of us) are sailing on Oasis in Nov. 2010. This year for part of their Christmas gifts I purchased $125.00 onboard credit gift certificates for everyone. This way they can do with it what they want (excursions, use in stores, restaurants, etc). Much easier than buying stuff people really don't need. I went online to RCCL website itself and ordered. They should be here before Thanksgiving.

If they use a TA purchase a gift certificate through their agency, My Daughter gave my DH and I a $500.00 certificate last year. It Blow us away. We used it toward the cost of the cruise.
