Splendor delays

Did anyone find out why the Splendor left L.A late a couple of weeks ago?

Someone on board said they were waiting for some passengers and finally left just before midnight. There's another thread out there somewhere.

If your talking about Nov 1st, it left about 90 min late... There was a passenger that had to leave by ambulance. It had no effect on our arrival time in PV. At least we were still docked in Long Beach when they fell ill. Hope they are doing better.

It was a different week where she left at almost midnight, according to someone on board, waiting for passengers! We were on her October 18 and left about 90 mins late also, taking on more fuel so we could go around Hurricane Rick, which ended up not being necessary.

I was on this cruise, we did leave close to midnight. The captain said it was a problem with a water tight door, which some crew members later told us had been damaged by a forklift that afternoon and needed to be repaired before we could leave the pier.
