Default Help! Help! Cannot download e-documents!

So I tried to download them yesterday after I received the e-mail from HAL that they were ready. Nothing. We got a little download spinning wheel that spun for three seconds..then froze. We did..once ..get an Adobe screen..nothing. The hourglass busy figure went off..nothing. So I read the instructions to download Adobe to at least 8.0. We had 7.0. Who knew? So we did. We still have dial up..it took about three hours..we clicked RUN..like HAL said..and Nothing. Big nothing.

So please..Tech Masters....Will e-docs download with a 7.0 Adobe even in slow?
If I had clicked SAVE instead of RUN..would that have upgraded my Adobe to 9.0? Should I do that..even if it takes all day?
Call my travel agent..internet..but very satisfied with service so far...and they can download? (Called HAL and they suggested this..or go to public library and use their computor..or pay HAL $24 for snail mail documents..which I certainly will do if I cannot download..I intend to be on that boat when it sails.
Thanks for any help..even explanations. We spent all day trying to download those docs...had a headache all night.

Do you have a friend with high speed internet? I know that is a very low tech answer, but it would save a lot of frustration in this instance.

I agree with sapper1 - for now, try to have a friend or relative print just the Boarding Pass first page. But, if you never get that page, you'll still be able to get on the ship. My DD couldn't find her Boarding Pass, but did know her booking number, and it was just as quick as if she had the piece of paper. And you can get baggage tags at the pier.

Don't have any more headaches over this!

God bless you both. I have been tearing my hair out over this. I did not know that you just need that first page..and Yes, I do have a relative with the HS connection.
I had visions of being turned away at the Dock...not from HAL ..but from Immigration....I should have had more sense. I am back on track here.
