Just to clear this up, I understand how this works. It's just the way that it was explained wasn't entirely clear.

What is going to take several days to get resolved is the cruise deposit. I guess it was a mistake to try and pay it seperate because they processed it one extra time.

Some of the explainations are making this more confusing than it is. Most of the explainations are simple and to the point.
This is a great program as long as you are planning to take another cruise on NCL. It works great, I've done it 4 times now and never had a problem (and I book all my cruises with an on-line T/A) NCL has your $250 in thier system under you name and latitudes number. When you book your next cruise, the $250 serves as your deposit, or if final payment is due at time of booking, they deduct $250 from what you pay for the cruise.
The lesson here is if you don't fully understand something, don't purchase it. It isn't woth the grief.......

That makes sense. Paying it with a different account made it a bit more complicated for them. Hope it gets cleared up soon!

there should not have been any way for you to try to charge it separately, and the latitudes rep knows that very well. It would have been charged to your on board account on the cruise you were on. it would have shown on your on board account statement as a $250.00 charge and a $100.00 credit. Which means if you had charged NOTHING else whatsoever on that cruise including your tips, then you would have ended up with a $150 total bill due at the end.

As for the credit for the future cruise the full $250. it takes a few days 72 hours I believe to show up in your Latitudes account, you never see this it is in your records, when you call to book a future cruise you will have a $250. Deposit credit that is good for any length cruise any number in cabin, other then the higher level suites which require additional deposit.

Other than that say you book a two week cruise for four people in one cabin, the $250. you of the certificate is the entire deposit.
