Hi there - guess you are going on the Dec 12-17th Caribbean???I do not know if they will do anything for "us", but if you bring along a menorah and candles - my husband and I will join you for candle lighting.

You can light your own candles in the MDR. We were crusing over Pesach this year and numerous tables in there had candles for the ladies to light. Also on Equiniox in August, they provided candles and challah on Friday nights.

But yes of course, no open flames in cabins etc.

I didn't expect that! I always bring my travel menorah & candles, but of course no lighting in cabin - just add a candle each night!

When we were on the Solstice last year they had a giant menorah in the lobby and lit a candle each night

Default Passover was great

We sailed on Passover. We had matzoh on our table every night. We were invited to a staff seder conducted by their Israeli security team. It was superb. Attend services to make connections with MOT and have a blast.

My husband and I will be on the Dec 13 sailing of the Solstice and were wondering what we were going to do about Chanukah. We'd love to get together with any other members of the tribe who will be on board. I don't have a travel menorah but my mom said she got one a few years ago at the Christmas Tree Shop, of all places, so I was planning to see if they have any. Good to know that there will probably be a candle lighting on the ship, one less thing to pack!

Will anyone be on the Millenium on December 18th? We are hoping that there will be a last night of Chanukah service where we can meet some new friends! We have been on quite a few cruises for the holiday and each and everyone had a service and a party atmosphere too! Anyone?
