Question Any chance of going out on the bow for the inaugural during Sailaway from port?

I think I have heard that the bow of the ship will be off limits to passengers on the Oasis. But I was wondering if anyone knows or thinks they will allow passengers up there for sailaway out of Port Everglades on the inaugural sailing?

Not allowing passengers in the bow area would be a first for the ships with helicopter pads (Radiance, Voyager, Freedom class). Can see the crew in this area when the ship came into FLL but would like to know.

This are will be off limits to everyone but crew. RCCL will not be changing that decision at anytime as their are only three entrances, two vertical climb hatches (one on each side that I noticed during the sail in) and one stair case in the middle of the deck that leads from the crew area.

Yup, that was confirmed on Friday to me too (though we knew that already). As stated previously on the forums they gave up a higher deck area for crew to passengers so the crew got the bow.

Oh no, this is the first I heard of this and am very disappointed. I always go there for sailaways.

Remember though that it does look like RCI has given the area directly above the bridge in the bow's place.

As stated in another thread it seemed to be planned for a kids area, now its an open area.

Glad I have the new RC brochure that has Oasis of the Seas deck plans. I am going to have to figure out how you get out to that deck onto of the bridge. I always liked to go out to the helicopter pad also for sailaway and for when coming into a port. Whoever, came up with the idea not to let the passengers go out to the helicopter pad? I betcha alot of people like myself are not going to be very happy about this. Well, at least there is another place to go to in front of the ship, but it just wont be the same. Hope someone takes a pic from the bridge and post it so we can see what kinda view is from up there!!

Maybe it will be almost as good over the bridge. I hope it will be better.

The area over the bridge is part of Adventure Ocean. If you look at the Oasis website, there are renderings of it.
