Default Price Drop after final payment - what are my options?

Hi all,

It looks like there may be a price drop that my group qualifies for. There is a resident rate and our state is included.

BUT, we have paid in full and the final payment date has passed.

What are our options?

I just called CArnival and casually asked about it. The rep said that once final payment dates pass, you can't get a reduction. That doesn't sound too nice.

What do you guys know? I want to call back and ask the right question or better yet, say the most beneficial statement that will help us at least get an OBC.

Thanks!

Essie is correct. Unless you booked ES, you are pretty much out of luck on getting an OBC. Sorry.

Nothing after final payment.

New rules came in on January 2009 when they introduced the Early Saver rate. With Early Saver, you can get price reductions right up to 2 days before cruising.

Default Upgrade possible

Hi blueslily;

You won't be able to get OBC, but you might be able to get an upgrade. DW and I noticed a price drop on our cruise after final payment, called Carnival, and they upgraded us from an 8C (balcony middle of deck 6) to an 8N (extended balcony aft on deck 8).
It won't pay for any drinks, but my DW really liked getting the extended balcony.
