Default Girls Trip - Conzumel Beach All Inclusive

Is it safe for 2 girls to get in a cab and go to a beach club? Also, we really want to just hang in the sun, have a couple drinks, good food and hopefully listen to some great music. Which beach club is best for us? We're in our late 20's and early 30's.

I only see one option available through the Carnival site. Friends recommended Playa mia and Paradise Beach. The Playa Mia website is under construction so I can't find much info on that one.

Can someone who's been to both give a comparison?

Hubby & kid free weekend!! Yeah!!

Personally, I'd go to Nachi Cocom. They definitely seem to be the most high-end of the beach clubs in Cozumel, perfect for a girls' weekend away from the kids and husbands. They limit their attendance so it's never crowded.

If you're looking for someplace with a bit of a busier vibe, look at Mr. Sanchos. I've heard great things about Paradise Beach too, but it sounds like they target families with kids, which you may not want if you're having a girls' escape.

Have a great trip.

Thanks for the info, I'll take a look at Mr. Sanchos. You're right, no offense to anyone, but I'm not looking for a "family" place.

Yes, Cozumel is quite safe.

Taxi tips:
Agree on the fare before you get in the vehicle.
Try to have exact change 'cause sometimes the drivers "can't make change".
Tipping isn't customary for taxis in Cozumel. Yes, lots of Americans still tip anyway.

Mr. Sanchos, Playa Uvas, Nachi Cocom are all good choices.

You don't want to go to Playa Mia if you want to avoid families/kids. I wouldn't want to go there because they serve the food there via buffet. I want to order from a menu and have to food prepared for me, not have it sit around waiting to be eaten.

Since you are looking for an all inclusive....I would recommend Nachi Cocom.

It is $49.95 for all you can drink and one 3 course meal. They have a large pool with a swim up bar and limit the number of cruisers they allow in.

The taxi will cost you $12 -15 (depending on where you dock) one way for up to 4 people.

And yes, Cozumel is very safe. We go there all the time.

Easy choice??
I could be wrong but I don't think Mr. Sanchos offers free kayak and snorkel? Nachi has those available for an additional cost. And, not sure what you mean "all from the menu". Nachi is also from a menu but it's just the three course.

Mr. Sanchos AI is all the food you want to order off of the menu and snorkeling and kayaks are included in the price. The best place to get information for it is at cozumel-watersports dot com

Thanks, sounds great! Just note that it doesn't include a snorkel excursion, just equipment so you can snorkel off their beach. Still that's a good deal!

You might also consider the Bar Hop/Party Bus. It goes to 5 different bars & circles the island, allowing you to see parts that you don't see if you just go to one of the "beach clubs." Of the places it goes, only 1 is likely to have a lot of kids present; the others are more targeted towards adults.

I think it does not include food - just a drink at each bar. But you're at each place long enough to hang out & have something to eat if you want.
