Default Salt River Kayak

Considering this kayak trip thru Celebrity, has anyone done it?

Very inexperienced but I read that the tour is for beginners so should
be fine. How much kayaking is really involved?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Salt River is a pretty area to kayak in, its a mangrove lagoon. The kayaking is pretty easy, water is calm, the guide stays with you. If its the regular Salt River tour then they give you an introduction to the area which has ecological and historical importance. You see up close some of the mangrove tree features that help them live in salt water - learn about the different types. Hear some island history. Have critters pointed out, iguanas and birds mostly. Stop at a couple spots to look around on the coastal area. A tip about the sun: Wear sunscreen and don't forget under your arms, chin/neck and other spots that might not seem like they would get much sun... they won't get direct sun but the sun reflects off the water and you end up getting lots of sun everywhere while kayaking.
