Look at those highly desirable, private staterooms adjacent to this. No extra charge the people yelling "woooo" every couple minutes.

BTW, no charge for the Zipline, you need to sign waver.

That same guy also has video onboard during her arrival. Seems like he's a chef onboard.

Yeah such a bummer that this zip line is so short, they should have done it over Central Park because it could have been longer.

Thanks for posting the youtube videos, they are pretty cool. I might have to try the zipline, now that I see its not very long!! I am scared of heights so I guess I will have to see how far down it is first!! Looks like fun though!!

Yeah, but who's really going to be in their room during the day on an amazing ship like Oasis?!

Wow, that's a short ride. 7 seconds. I've zipped lined in Alaska. Keep in mind that there still would be an orientation briefing plus donning on the gear prior and after the ride, which will by far take more time than 7 seconds. Seems like if you haven't done it before it may be worth it, but if you have done it before it's not worth the time. But still, props to RCCL for the idea. I wonder if they could've designed the ride to span the length of the ship.

I think the reason it spans BW is that it fits the atmosphere. It fits with the pool deck and the BW is already supposed to be a noisy happy environment with kids laughing on the carousel and everything. If they had spanned CP it would have changed the atmosphere of the area as that's supposed to be a quiet relaxed place. You also have to remember that CP has a bridge in the middle that would get in the way and with it's extended length it would probably have to drop more than one floor.
