Default is there a list of the best cabins on each ship?

Hi, a couple years ago when we were planning our cruise there was a list of the best cabins on each ship, I thought I found it here, but can't now, has it been removed or am I on the wrong site?

Thanks!

I haven't seen a list like that, but surely the "best cabins" would vary a lot from person to person. For us, a really good cabin is high up in the ship and all the way forward - because we don't get seasick and we really enjoy the motion. For many, that would be pure hell.

The list included the largest balconies, unobstructed views, for example. It was very helpful and we chose a cabin that we wouldn't have considered otherwise - it worked out GREAT! I understand what you are saying though - you probably have good choices available since, like you said, many would find that area hell. I would love it, my hubby has issues with motion.

Hopefully someone will remember the list.

Thanks!

There is a sticky on the Celebrity board that within it has a spreadsheet of people's writings about particular cabins on the Solstice class ships. That is really the only one I have seen.

Iv seen the list and it was very general and I didnt agree with their evaluations. It came from a newspaper or some such. It is still not a given the cabins listed are the best, just that whomever wrote the article said they were. I remember disagreeing with a lot of their picks ... way too general.

There is also a sticky on the HAL board that one of the members, IRLJoanie put together showing actual photos of different staterooms (supplied by HAL cruisers) on all their different ships. She's done a splendid job, and if you are considering sailing HAL at any time, you should check it out. Would be nice though for a comprehensive list showing staterooms on all cruiselines, all ships - what a massive amount of work THAT would be....but like I said, sure would be nice....

Thanks everyone - I'll take a look at the stickies - we may consider HAL now too - maybe it was just celebrity that the list was for, I remember pictures too, but mainly just a list of cabin numbers.

Happy Cruising!

I looked briefly and that looks great - we have decided on the Sapphire, would be nice to find a list like this for Princess, but this looks like it has some general suggestions that would work on most ships, thanks! I can definitely use this.

Are you asking about an inside, outside, balcony or suite cabin? You will probably get some answers if you post again and put in the title Sapphire Princess and what type of cabin you want. You can also try to do a search on the Princess boards.

If you are asking about the balcony cabins I may be able to help. Good luck in your search.

Either cabin would work, they will both be exactly the same. Since they are both in the same general area I suggest you look at the deck plans and see which elevators you will be using most often. I am glad you are looking at caribe deck, they have the largest balconies.

I like my cabin to be close to the aft elevator which makes it easy to go up to the buffet, grab some food and bring it back to the cabin. There is a method to my madness.

Thanks for the suggestion, 335 is in the middle of 2 sets of elevators so I booked it. I am so glad I searched here and found out about the bigger balconies on Caribe, it's great to have access to so much experience and people who gladly share it.
