Default Place to get cigars in St. Thomas?

Has anyone seen a place around the port to get some good cigars? Im not talking about the el cheapos that Im sure are available in the port, but a real shop in town that sells real nice cigars? Any help would be appreciated!

Default There are several shops at pier and downtown

No Cubans sold and don't let any street vendor try to sel you one. They are phoney.

There are three stores in town with walk-in humidors. A.H. Riise on Main Street, Captain's Corner on Main Street, and Pirate's Loot on the Waterfront. They are usually fully stocked during season, but in the summer, the selections may be more limited.

Riise and Captain's Corner probably have the better selection of the three, and they sell many of the premium brands you'll find in the States. They also carry some premium made in the Caribbean brands that you probably can't find in the States.

At the Havensight dock, there's the Tobacco Discounter, and it's a complete store selling cigars and other tobacco related items. They sell the well-known premium brands. Also Gourmet Gallery has a small selection.

There's also a private label, VI Rum cigar, which comes in a tube, and is very popular.

Thanks so much for the info! My b/f is a big cigar buff, we always try to get some good ones at each port we visit.

And you're letting him smoke alone?? Many ladies are trying the small, flavored cigars that come in vanilla, cherry, etc. Check the movie "Sex and Mrs. X" to see women smoking cigars!
